Michael SchnabelMichael Schnabel is the Founder and CEO of Schnabel Ventures as well as a Managing Member of both Development Arts and Blackfire Real Estate Investors. Michael has over twenty years of experience in commercial real estate including brokerage, leasing, development and investment. Prior to founding Schnabel Ventures, he was most recently the Senior Managing Director and Owner of the CB Richard Ellis Reno/Tahoe commercial brokerage firm. Prior to CBRE, Michael worked with industrial developer Trainor & Associates in Reno and with investment property brokerage Marcus & Millichap in San Francisco. In addition, Michael has valuable corporate finance experience earned at the Wall Street firms of Kidder, Peabody & Co. in San Francisco and Merrill, Lynch & Co. in Washington, DC. Michael is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Schnabel Foundation Company, a national design-build construction company based in Washington DC. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia and a Masters in Business Administration from New York University. |

Shannon WisemanShannon Wiseman is the Executive Vice President of Schnabel Ventures and has diverse responsibilities ranging from managing the company operations to project underwriting to partner company development. Prior to co-founding Schnabel Ventures, Shannon was with the CB Richard Ellis Reno/Tahoe commercial brokerage firm. In addition to her commercial real estate experience, Shannon has worked in resort sales operations for the Four Seasons Resort in Jackson Hole, WY, venture capital investing for J. H. Whitney & Co. in Stamford, CT and investment banking for Lazard Frères, LLC in New York City. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Masters in Business Administration from Stanford University. Shannon is also a LEED Accredited Professional. |

Steven JeppsonSteven Jeppson is the Vice President of Acquisitions at Schnabel Ventures. Steven has more than ten years of experience in sourcing, underwriting, purchasing, and financing commercial real estate assets and notes. In his role as Vice President of Acquisitions, Steven will also serve as the Senior Analyst responsible for creating and implementing proprietary valuation models, conducting research, and providing ancillary quantitative analysis. Prior to joining Schnabel Ventures, Steven headed the real estate acquisitions team at Vintage Capital Group in Brentwood. He has also worked as an Acquisitions Analyst at the Archon Group (Goldman Sachs Whitehall Funds) and an Associate at Cushman & Wakefield. Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Harvard University.

James YarmonJames Yarmon is the Manager of Yarmon Investments LLC, a real estate investment, development and management company located in Anchorage, Alaska. Jim has been involved in investment real estate for over 30 years. Since l990, Jim has also been a general partner in the Polaris Fund, a venture capital fund with an emphasis on Alaskan investments. He has also previously worked in tax shelter investments at the U.S. Trust Company of New York, in real estate investment banking for Eastdil Realty, and in real estate development for Eljim Realty. He has a B.A. from Dartmouth College, a JD from Colombia Law School, and an MBA from Amos Tuck at Dartmouth. He also serves on the boards of several Anchorage community associations. |

Jon PaulsonJon Paulson has been in the real estate development, investment, brokerage and capital-raising business since 1977. He is currently a Managing Director at Capital Pacific, where he focuses on raising equity capital and providing capital markets advice to operating and developer clients. He has also been a Managing Partner with the Palmer Team and a senior executive and/or Managing Partner with L.J. Melody & Co., Property First, Inc., Marcus & Millichap, CB Commercial, Boston Capital Resources, Inc. and Stanfill Paulson & Co. He has completed debt and equity financing and investment property sales transactions totaling more than $3 billion. Jon received his B.S. from Rutgers College in 1964 and his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1974. He was a Marine Platoon Commander in Vietnam in 1965 and 1966.
